Temples

The contour of the upper face.

This page provides general information and does not replace an individual medical consultation. Indication, product, technique and treatment plan are decided only after assessment; not every treatment is suitable for every person.

What is assessed

Ageing or a naturally lean face may make the temples appear hollow. Bone structure, tissue thickness and their relationship to the forehead and cheekbones are assessed.

Anatomy and context

Important vessels run through the temple at different depths. Detailed anatomical knowledge and careful selection of the tissue plane are central to safety in this area.

Limits

This is an anatomically delicate vascular area; any proposed treatment requires an individual medical assessment.

Treatments that may be considered

This list is informational. It does not mean that every option is suitable for every person. Choosing not to proceed is also an option.

Every assessment begins with a medical consultation.
