This page provides general information and does not replace an individual medical consultation. Indication, product, technique and treatment plan are decided only after assessment; not every treatment is suitable for every person.
What is assessed
These natural folds may become more visible with age, reduced mid-face support and changes in skin quality. Assessment often begins with the surrounding areas.
Anatomy and context
Directly filling the fold is not always the best option. When reduced mid-face support is the main cause, treating the fold alone may create unwanted heaviness.
Limits
A nasolabial fold should not be erased completely; it is part of normal facial expression.
Treatments that may be considered
This list is informational. It does not mean that every option is suitable for every person. Choosing not to proceed is also an option.
