What is assessed
The consultation considers the relationship between the upper and lower lip, the smile, profile and surrounding skin.
Anatomy and context
Ageing may reduce volume and border definition and lengthen the distance between nose and upper lip. Preserving the relationship between upper and lower lip and the rest of the face matters more than quantity.
Limits
Fine lines around the mouth and skin quality may require a different approach from lip filler.
