This page provides general information and does not replace an individual medical consultation. Indication, product, technique and treatment plan are decided only after assessment; not every treatment is suitable for every person.
What is assessed
Assessment includes muscle movement, eyebrow position, eyelid function and skin quality because treating one area may alter the expression of the whole upper face.
Anatomy and context
The frontalis is the only muscle that raises the eyebrows. Reducing its activity too much may make the eyes look heavier, so eyebrow and eyelid position matter as much as the lines themselves.
Limits
Deep lines present at rest may improve only partly, and excessive muscle reduction may affect eyebrow position or expression.
Treatments that may be considered
This list is informational. It does not mean that every option is suitable for every person. Choosing not to proceed is also an option.
