This page provides general information and does not replace an individual medical consultation. Indication, product, technique and treatment plan are decided only after assessment; not every treatment is suitable for every person.
What is assessed
Assessment considers bone structure, volume distribution and symmetry. Loss of mid-face support may also influence the under-eye area and nasolabial folds.
Anatomy and context
The cheekbone supports the mid-face. Reduced support may be noticed lower down in the cheek or nasolabial fold, so assessment is not limited to the place where a shadow is most visible.
Limits
The aim is not simply to enlarge the cheekbones, but to understand their role in overall facial balance.
Treatments that may be considered
This list is informational. It does not mean that every option is suitable for every person. Choosing not to proceed is also an option.
